SAINT LOUIS, Mo. -- After a two-match battle yesterday, Davidson met the Saint Louis Billikens once again today, less than 24 hours later, to close out a three-game opening series in Atlantic 10 play. The Florida native was key for keeping the ball alive in several of the Wildcats' rallies against the Billikens, as Brady has now reached double-digits in digs in all five of Davidson's matches this season. Jessie Doyal and Syndey Champaigne anchored the 'Cats' offense together, for the second straight day, with Doyal earning 11 assists and Champaigne tallying 10.
Saint Louis controlled the match from the onset, out-attacking the Wildcats .355-.107, and recording 48 total kills on the day. Davidson chased the Billikens' tails in sets two and three however, as the 'Cats led twice during the second and erased a five-point deficit in the third to make it a two-point game.
Sophomore Madeline Wynn was Davidson's lead attacker at the net, recording eight kills on 11 swings and picking up no errors on the day. Wynn also tallied the Wildcats' lone solo block of the day.
