BRONX, N.Y. – Davidson drilled 15 3-pointers and handed out 25 assists on 28 field goals as the Wildcats cruised past Fordham, 75-45, in Atlantic 10 men's basketball action Sunday at Rose Hill Gym.
Jon Axel Gudmundsson paced four Davidson (9-7, 4-1 A-10) players in double figures with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Kellan Grady hit four triples to finish with 14, while Oskar Michelsen and Peyton Aldridge added 13 and 11, respectively.
KiShawn Pritchett handed out a game-high 9 assists for Davidson, which is off to its best start in A-10 play since joining the league in 2014.
As a team, the Wildcats shot 52.8 percent overall, while holding Fordham (6-11, 1-4 A-10) to just 37.2 percent.
In addition to shooting 58.3 percent in the opening half, Davidson raced out to an 8-0 advantage and led by 16 in the period before going to intermission up, 37-26.
The Wildcats held a 32-23 advantage on the glass and committed just 5 turnovers.
Like the first 20 minutes, the Wildcats scored eight unanswered to begin the second half and eventually stretched their lead to as many as 30.
Perris Hicks led the Rams with 15 points.
