BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Davidson suffered a 76-54 setback to second-seeded VCU in the semifinals of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament, Saturday afternoon at the Barclays Center.

The Rams, who will face fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's in Sunday's championship, drilled 10-of-25 3-pointers, while holding the Wildcats to just 37 percent overall and 5-of-23 from 3-point range.

Despite the loss, Brian Sullivan and Jordan Barham led Davidson (20-12) with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

The Rams put the game out of reach with an 18-3 streak early in the second half and eventually stretched the margin to as many as 30.

Korey Billbury paced three VCU (24-9) players in double figures with a game-high 17 points and 7 rebounds.

VCU used a pair of first-half runs to grab a double-digit advantage, including an 11-3 spurt to close the period and take a 38-25 lead into the break.
