DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Wildcats continue on with their three-game homestand Saturday when they play host to Furman in a women's Southern Conference basketball matchup at John M. Belk Arena at 2 p.m.
Davidson (14-9, 11-2 SoCon) is in second place in the league standings, trailing Chattanooga which sits at 14-1. The 'Cats are looking to get back to their winning ways after having their season-best six-game win streak snapped on Monday against College of Charleston.
The Wildcats will finish out their homestand Monday, Feb. 18, before hitting the road for their final four road contests and then return home March 4 to close out the regular season against Western Carolina for Senior Day.
Game Promotions
Saturday's game is also the Wildcats' 6th annual WBCA Pink Zone Game, known now as Play 4Kay, for Breast Cancer Awareness. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. They can also purchase t-shirts as well as participate in a silent auction that will run throughout the game.
Saturday's contest is also Take A Kid To the Game in partnering with the NCAA. Any child of eighth grade or young can come to the game FREE with a paying adult.
