Peyton attended First Baptist Academy. She was a varsity volleyball captain from 2022-25 and a club volleyball captain from 2019-25. In addition to volleyball, Garrick ran hurdles in track on varsity and played varsity tennis. Garrick made an impact outside of sports as well. She was the president of national honors society. Garrick recorded 1,193 digs, 600 kills, and 196 assists while in high school.
