2009: Played in all 10 games, making eight starts at quarterback • Threw for 830 yards and three touchdowns • Second on the team in rushing with 485 yards and four scores • It was the most rushing yards for a Davidson quarterback since 1998 • Rushed for 102 yards and threw for 78 and a touchdown in at San Diego • Ran for 91 yards and threw for 83 yards and two scores vs. Campbell • Passed for a career best 190 yards vs. Lenoir-Rhyne • Ran for 93 yards and two TDs and threw for 50 against Morehead State • Ran for 68 yards and threw for 78 at Dayton • Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll.
2008: Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll • Played in all 11 games • Rushed six times for 29 yards and a touchdown • Also caught five passes for 34 yards and a score • Had three carries for 18 yards against Dayton • Rushed twice for seven yards and a score at Campbell • Caught two passes for five yards and a TD vs. San Diego.
2007: Did not see any action as a freshman.
Prep Years: Earned three letters in football under coach Chuck Henderson at Ledford High School • Named conference Player of the Year and became the first player to pass and rush for over 1,000 yards in the same season • Racked up 2,657 yards of total offense with 20 touchdowns as a senior; also named all-conference and all-county • Earned letters in basketball and track • National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars.
