Notes: Slated to be the starter at a defensive tackle position again this year • Has started 21 consecutive contests, tied for the most of any returning lettermen.
2008: Ranked 18th in the PFL in tackles and 11th in tackles for loss • Topped the charts in tackles by a lineman • Named PFL Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 13 after collecting 13 tackles, including four for loss, at Lenoir-Rhyne • Started all 11 contests • Fourth on the team with 62 tackles and second on the squad with 10.5 tackles for loss • Also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery • Had nine tackles, including one for loss, and a fumble recovery at UNC Pembroke • Posted eight tackles and a tackle for loss at Drake • Had seven tackles and a tackle for loss at Morehead State • Credited with four tackles (1.5 for loss) against Dayton • Also had stops behind the line against Campbell and Marist.
