2009: Earned All-PFL Honorable Mention Honors • Named second-team Academic All-PFL and to PFL Academic Honor Roll • Ranked 12th in the PFL in tackles and ninth in tackles by linebackers (6.8/gm) • Started all 10 games • Finished the season with a team-leading 68 stops, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles • Had 10 tackles and a sack vs. Drake • Recorded nine stops and a sack at Jacksonville • Collected eight tackles and a forced fumble vs. Morehead State • Posted eight tackles vs. Campbell and San Diego; also forced a fumble against the Toreros • Had four stops and three pass breakups at Butler.

2008: Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll • Started the first five games at outside linebacker before an injury sidelined him for one contest • Came back to make another start and play in the remaining five contests • 10th on the team with 39 tackles • Also had 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble • Had a season-high nine tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble at UNC Pembroke • Posted eight tackles and a tackle for loss at Morehead State • Had six stops at Lenoir-Rhyne • Had five tackles and a pass breakup at Valparaiso.

2007: Played in all 10 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams • Had a career high eight tackles, including six solo stops and a sack, to go along with a pass breakup vs. Morehead State • Recorded six tackles (5 solo), a tackle for loss and a pass breakup against Valparaiso • Collected four tackles (3 solo) vs. Lenoir-Rhyne.

Prep Years: Earned four letters in football for coach Lenny Pritchard at Deep Run High School • Team captain as a junior and senior • Named first-team all-state, all-region, all-district and all-metro in 2006; also earned district, region and metro Defensive Player of the Year honors • Helped team to the state semifinals • Selected to play in the Virginia High School All-Star Game • Named first-team all-district, all-region and all-metro in 2005 • Also earned four letters in baseball • Team co-captain in baseball as a junior and senior • National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
