Notes: Team captain • Former linebacker who has been converted to a punter for the ‘Cats.
2009: Named second-team All-PFL • Ranked second in the PFL, averaging 40.5 yards a punt • Played in nine contests • Punted for 2,509 yards on 62 kicks • Placed 22 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line • Rushed for 43 yards on fake punts, including a 35-yard scamper at San Diego • Had 11 punts for 445 yards at Elon • Had nine kicks for 350 yards vs. Morehead State • Punted six times for 271 yards (45.2/kick) with a long of 69 yards vs. Drake • Averaged 42.6 yards on seven punts and Butler • Named to PFL Academic Honor Roll.
2008: Helped the ‘Cats rank second in the PFL in punting • Played in four contests • Punted 11 times for 442 yards for an average of 40.2 yards a kick • Averaged 41 yards on four kicks with three inside the 20 at Drake • Averaged 40 yards a punt on five attempts with one inside the 20 vs. Marist.
2007: Played in nine games on defense and special teams • All 11 of his tackles on the season were solo stops • Made four solo tackles and recorded two sacks in his Wildcat debut against UNC Pembroke • Had two solo tackles at Jacksonville • Also recorded tackles against Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne, Drake, Butler and San Diego.
Prep Years: Played football for coach Charles Johnson at Ridgewood High School • Two-time first-team all-league and honorable mention all-county • First-team All-Suburban and played in Bergen County All-Star Game • Kossick Award for Scholar Athlete • National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete • Also lettered in basketball and lacrosse • National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society.
Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1988, in Houston, Texas • The son of Todd and Patricia • Has two sisters, Ashley and Brittany • Plays classical guitar.
