2011-12: Competed at VMI’s Rat Rumble.

Prep Years: Earned all-state recognition after placing fourth in the North Carolina state tournament at heavyweight wrestling for Enka H.S. … was the regional champion in 2011 and the runner-up in 2010 … three-time MAC conference champion … went 135-30 during his career and 47-4 during his senior year … also played football, earning All-Western North Carolina and MAC All-Conference honors in 2011.
