PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – While posting her third straight double-double, Charlise Dunn eclipsed the 1,000-point, 500-rebound career milestone with 21 points and 11 boards, but Davidson fell 59–51 to Saint Joseph's at Hagan Arena.
The 'Cats drop their second consecutive game, falling to 7-4 in league play and 15-9 overall, while the Hawks improve 16-5 and to 6-4 in A-10 action.
Dunn reached both career achievements in Sunday's game, making her the 16th player in program history to score 1000 points and capture 500 rebounds. She is also one of three players to record 1000 points, 500 rebounds, 100 steals and 120 three-point field goals, alongside Laura Murray and Jen O'Brien.
The 'Cats took a 17-13 lead going into the second quarter before a 17-5 run from the Hawks flipped the game and gave the home team a six-point lead going into halftime.
Davidson, which trailed by as many as 13 points, cut the deficit to one point in the fourth quarter on a Dunn three-pointer.
The Hawks were able to outlast the Davidson surge, led by Gabby Casey's 22 points. Aleah Snead also tallied double figures for the Hawks with 10 points.
Davidson out-rebounded Saint Joe's 33-30 but were held to 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.
