MARIETTA, GA - The Davidson College men's tennis team's incoming 2025 class was ranked 22nd in the Mid-Major Recruiting Class Rankings released by the Tennis Recruiting Network, Monday.

For the second year in a row and seventh time in program history, Head Coach Drew Barrett has compiled a well-decorated group of players worthy of garnering recognition on the TRN Mid-Major Rankings list after being ranked 25th a season ago.

The incoming class is comprised of two talented players in Kai Villagomez and Connor Cole.

Villagomez, a Matthews, N.C. native is the highest ranked TRN player in the Wildcats' 2025 incoming class at No. 54 overall while Cole of Plano, Texas is ranked 116. Villagomez, a product of Butler High School, became the first N.C. High School Athletic Association boys' tennis champion in school history after defeating Green Level's Trishiv Premanand 6-, 6-0 in early May in the NC State 4A Men's Tennis Championship. Cole cruised the three singles wins in his District meet to advance to the Regional Tournament this year.

Davidson is one of just two Atlantic 10 schools to be featured in the rankings with Dayton being No. 17.
