Davidson Wraps Up Competition at Southern Scuffle

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tyler-Xavier McKnight, Wyatt Ferguson, and Cameo Blankenship each competed in the consolation quarterfinals on Day Two of the Southern Scuffle on Tuesday afternoon.
McKnight (149), fell to North Dakota State's Max Pearson in a 4-2 decision while fellow freshman Wyatt Ferguson (184) dropped his quarterfinal match up, 6-0, to Bucknell's Mikey Bartesh. Senior Cameo Blankenship (197) also fell short of the semifinals after falling to Bucknell's Logan Deacetis.

The Wildcats will return home next Thursday and Friday when they host the Davidson Duals. Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
