BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Davidson wrestling team fell on the road to the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs 34-4 on Saturday afternoon. Tanner Peake picked up the lone victory for the Wildcats.
Peake continues to hit his stride down the stretch. With a 14-1 major decision victory on Saturday, he moved to 12-2 overall and a perfect 5-0 in SoCon dual action. He will compete tomorrow at the Iowa State Last Chance Open as he chases an NCAA qualifying bid.
The wrestling team will face #20 App State in their final dual match of the regular season while Tanner Peake and Bryce Sanderlin will head to the Iowa State Last Chance Open.
