BOONE, N.C. – The Davidson wrestling team dropped its first Southern Conference match of the 2015-16 season at Appalachian State Saturday afternoon, 49-0.
Dustin Runzo put up a fight at 133, but couldn't overcome Jacob Grigg and dropped the bout by a score of 5-2.
Konner Pritchard kept it tight vs. Taylor Jackson at 184, but ended up yielding a 5-1 decision to Taylor Jackson.
Davidson returns to action Thursday, Nov. 12 with a trip to Greensboro College.
